Architectural Services for this project included a new 3-story assisted living facility of approximately 28,000 s.f. The building construction consists of masonry bearing walls with precast concrete, hollow core floor and roof slabs, and a modified bitumen roof system over lightweight insulating concrete. The new building tied into two adjacent existing buildings, the Monte Johnson Building and the McGrath Center Building, forming a significant courtyard area which is shared between them.
The facility consists of 28 units in a neighborhood style living concept and includes a large number of communal activity spaces.
