and EOC Building

This project consists of a new building totaling 4,475 GSF. The building is LEED Gold Certified and designed to withstand a CAT 5 event with redundant emergency systems. It is located above the 500-year Flood Plain. The Public Works Administration is a 1-story building with structural concrete precast wall panels and a double tee precast concrete roof, with 3 ft. high punched windows with FEMA 361 attributes and tinted impact glass. The building houses the Public Works Administration and the City's Emergency Operations Center. The EOC component of this facility will shelter City emergency management staff during a storm event and become the Center of Operations in a post storm environment. The use of this building is predominately office space.
