Logan Lab Improvements

Pinellas County Utilities Logan Lab is the water testing and water quality laboratory for the County. The scope includes consolidation of staff from two existing buildings and relocates them to the existing expanded building on site through a 3-stage phased construction process for Logan Lab. Logan Lab is currently 16,668 GSF. The existing central energy plant (CEP) will be demolished and replaced with a new 5800 GSF CEP in Phase 1. A new 9,839 GSF, CAT 5, LEED certified laboratory addition will be completed in Phase 2. Renovation and hardening of the existing building will be completed in Phase 3. The County’s anticipated opinion of probable construction cost is approximately $18,000,000 for all three phases.
