This project included total demolition and renovation and hurricane hardening of an existing 2-story building at the Pinellas County Criminal Justice Center.

The video visitation area for inmate visitors has access to the entire criminal justice campus and included a public lobby, with waiting and screening areas, toilets, video equipment room, screen and recording room, control counter, work areas, and staff offices.

Project included seven (7) different administrative support sections for the Sheriff’s Department, offices, conference rooms, work area, training rooms, classrooms, and computer labs. Also the server rooms in this facility provided primary IT support for the entire facility. Hurricane hardening of this facility included replacement of all openings with impact tested doors, windows and louvers and some structural upgrade of the building. A re-roof of the facility was also included.
