The Salvation Army purchased a 9-acre site formerly occupied by Clearwater Community Hospital. The project included demolition of a significant portion of the existing hospital. 28,000 s.f. of the hospital was renovated into Transitional Housing along with a 5,000 s.f. new addition. Two new buildings were added to the site and included a 5,500 s.f. Social Services Building and a 12,000 s.f. Correctional Service Building.   Transitional Housing includes not only residential housing, but a 3,000 s.f. multipurpose room, kitchen/break room, an exterior playground area, counseling, laundry shop, storage and loading dock spaces. The Social Services building includes administrative offices, counseling, conference, food service storage, and clothing storage, among other spaces.   The Correctional Services building includes administrative offices, counseling, conference/break room facilities and a drug-screening lab.
