The scope of this project was to renovate the 7th floor from a Medical Surgical Floor to an OB Postpartum floor. The existing semi-private rooms were converted into private rooms and bathing facilities were added to each room. The beds were positioned so that the patient can view the television and out the windows to see Clearwater Harbor. Three (3) patient rooms were demolished to make space for a Stage III nursery. This was done so that in the future the floor could be renovated into a VIP medical/surgery floor.
