The Pinellas County Utilities Cross Bar Ranch Visitor Center is located at the 12,000-acre Cross Bar Ranch Well Field in neighboring Pasco County. The one-story Visitor Center includes a total of 6,000 GSF. Exterior decks and screened-in Exhibit/Dining spaces made up 4,000 s.f. of the programmed space. The conditioned space (2,000 s.f.) included a larger Conference / Classroom area, Restrooms, Kitchen, and a Teaching Office. A very significant A/V package was included with this project. Pinellas County uses the facility for interactive nature experiences and as an interactive exhibit on the use of well fields.
